The City
Paris is the capital and the popular city of France. The total populations are 2175601 residents as per the year 2018. In early 17th century Paris was one half of the European major centers of diplomacy, finance, commerce, fashion, gastronomy, arts and science. In 2018 the Economist Intelligence Unit made a worldwide survey on cost of living, according to them Paris is the second most expensive city in the world.
Paris is also most famous for their attracted paintings and sculptures. They also called as “City of Art". Most pride of the French monarchy is their paintings and sculpture. Sculptors such as Coysevox and Coustou, Girardon were named as finest artists in the 17th century. During King Louis XIV periods Pierre Mignard was the first painter.
The biggest festival in the city is the Bastille Day, from 1789, July 14th they celebrate this festival “storming of the Bastille”. A parade of military units and equipment will take place, at the Eiffel Tower display of fireworks will happen in the evening on the Bastille festival day.
The Venus de Milo statue, the Mona Lisa (La Joconde) was the main features of the museums.
